The morning after the meeting on the pyramid, Ethan is upset, and wants to leave Mexico. So Jim has a difficult decision to make. Also, having vital information uploaded into Teddy's database from the 'aliens', for Tony Stark, Jim needs to get Teddy back to Tony as soon as possible.
It was the morning after the meeting on the summit of the pyramid in Chichen Itza - and Ethan didn't want to get up.
Jim was worried...
Ethan usually was up and ready to face the day as soon as Teddy started bouncing around - but Ethan wanted to stay in bed.
"If you're not still sleepy, then why stay in bed...
Today we leave Chichen Itza and go back to Chiapas.
So get up - shower and get dressed...", Jim said.
"I want to go home...", Ethan muttered, as he pulled the clothes over his head.
"And which 'home' might that be ?", Teddy asked.
"The nice garden at the 'Winter Palace'.", Ethan replied.
Casa Na Bolom - San Cristóbal de las Casas |
'Casa Na Bolom' is located in San 'Cristóbal de las Casas', Chiapas. It was the home of archaeologist Frans Blom. Casa Na Bolom now operates as a hotel and a museum and is run by the 'Athena Corporation. On the death of Frans Blom the house was bought by Alexander Johnston, and later bequeathed to Ethan Duncan.
"Jim... I don't like Mexico - I want to go home !", Ethan pleaded.
"OK - I'll see what I can do.", Jim said.
Jim quickly left the suite - puzzled, and unsure who to consult...
Conveniently - as usual - Faunus appeared in the hallway.
"Faunus ! Am I pleased to see you...", Jim began.
"Calm down, Jim...
After what happened on the pyramid, and other recent events, it's only to be expected.
Ethan needs a rest.
Take him to Tony Stark, so that Teddy can deliver the latest information from the 'aliens', and then take him to Egypt for a real holiday.", Faunus advised.
"But what about the rest of the group.?". Jim asked.
"They'll be all right - I'll look after them.
They can have a holiday by the sea, and Zac and Josh can finish off the 'business' here in Mexico.
But I'll also keep an eye on you and Ethan now and then, as well.", Faunus said.
So Faunus disappeared - literally - and Jim returned to where Ethan was hiding with Teddy under the bedclothes.
"Come on, Ethan.
Stop pretending you're sleeping.
Faunus is arranging everything...", Jim said gently.
"I don't want to stay here...
It's hot and sticky, and I keep having all these nasty dreams about 'nasty Mayan gods', and being chased by jaguars.", Ethan mumbled from under the bedclothes.
Suddenly Teddy popped up from under the bedclothes...
"Delayed 'Post Traumatic Stress Disorder', if you ask me....", Teddy suggested.
Dr. Siegfried Brandt |
"Well Dr Brandt was a psychiatrist, and he was pretty stupid, so why can't I pretend to be a psychiatrist - and anyway, my diagnosis is ninety percent correct - and once you get Ethan away from here I'm sure he'll be OK.", Teddy insisted.
"I'm glad to hear it.", Jim replied, as he rang for room service, and ordered breakfast for Ethan.
"Now Teddy, you just stay here, and be good company for Ethan, and I'll have breakfast with the rest of the 'gang' and explain that you, me and Teddy are packing, as we have to get back urgently to see Tony with some important information.", Jim explained.
And so, at breakfast, Jim gave the news to the rest of the group.
Once breakfast was over, Novius had a quiet word with Jim.
"I don't wish to intrude, Marcus, but I suspect that there's more to this sudden departure than simply the need to deliver some information to Tony Stark ?", Novius commented.
"Well yes...
Come up to the suite, and I'll explain.", Jim replied.
When Novius arrived in the suite, he found Ethan and Teddy chatting - apparently quite normally.
"Feeling a bit better, Aurarius ?', Novius asked.
"Oh - I suppose Jim told you about me...", Ethan said.
"No, as it happened, he didn't - but I know you too well, and I have been worried, since we came here.
I felt that you were not very happy, and after what happened on the pyramid, I'm not surprised that you are upset.", Novius confessed.
"OK - well I don't like it here.
Ashraf |
"Right, well we're going back to 'Vegas, and we'll visit Tony at the 'Villa Athena' - deliver the info from the 'aliens', pick up the kitties, and then go to the 'Winter Palace'.", Jim said briskly.
"Good, but shouldn't we also take Ashraf ?
I don't think he's very happy here either", Novius proposed.
And it was true.
Ashraf had been very quiet during the whole trip.
You see, Ashraf didn't know anything about Mexico, or the Maya, or other Mesoamerican groups.
He was having enough trouble adjusting to finding himself in contemporary America, without the added burden of coming to terms with the ancient culture of Mexico.
So while Novius was suggesting to Ashraf that he could join Jim, Ethan and Teddy on a flight back to the US, and then to Egypt, Josh was making arrangements for the 'Dreamliner' to land at 'Cancún International Airport', and at the same time Josh hired two limos to take the small group from the 'Mayaland Hotel' to Cancún Airport. - which was just a two hour journey.
When Jim told Clare that Ethan wanted to return to 'Vegas she was initially concerned, but understood that Ethan had not been entirely happy in Mexico - and so she offered to help Ethan with his packing.
Playa-del-Carmen - Quintana Roo - Mexico |
Clare, however, was was quite content to stay in Mexico, as she was looking forward to spending some time with Jim, Josh Zac and 'Sigi' at the new 'Club Athena Resort' at Playa-del-Carmen.
'Playa del Carmen' is a resort located in the municipality of Solidaridad, in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is a popular tourist area in eastern Mexico. Playa del Carmen features a wide array of tourist activities due to its geographical location in the Riviera Maya. Josh and Franklin had focused on the area as being suitable for development as a high-class American tourist destination - to be serviced by the 'Air West' Airline.
By mid-morning the limos arrived at the 'Mayaland Hotel', and Jim gave his parting instructions to Josh and Zac - and his farewells to the rest of the group.
"So how long is it going to take to get to the airport ?", Ethan, who already seemed a lot more cheerful, asked, as the limo smoothly left Chichen Itza - speeding them on to the airport.
'Huracán' |
"And what's this Cancún-thingy ?", Ethan continued.
"It's a city in southeast Mexico - on the northeast coast of the Yucatán.
It's a tourist destination, mainly for beach holidays, but it's in an area subject to hurricanes, so I don't think we'll be building any hotels or casinos there,", Jim said.
"You see ! I knew I didn't like Mexico, and now you start talking about hurricanes.", Ethan said.
The word 'hurricane' is named after a Mayan God. The English word 'hurricane' comes from the Taino (the indigenous people of the Caribbean and Florida) word 'Huricán', who was the Carib Indian god of evil, and their god 'Huricán' was derived from the Mayan god of wind, storm, and fire, 'Huracán'.
And so they arrived at 'Cancún International Airport', and being the only passengers on their particular flight, there were no queues, and the only delay was caused by refueling, as there was practically no baggage to load compared to a normal flight.
Cancún International Airport - Yucatan - Mexico |
These were just some of the advantages accrued by actually owning the airliner in which you were flying.
Jim had decided to fly back to La Vegas, as that was how they had originally traveled to Mexico, and therefore he thought it prudent to go through passport control on the return journey.
'AirWest' Poster |
The members of the original group that had been left in Mexico would equally return to the US by taking a scheduled 'AirWest' flight from Villahermosa International Airport to McCarran International Airport.
'AirWest' was originally a moribund airline that Franklin had acquired for the 'Athena Corporation' in order to service the tourist traffic from the northern states of the US to 'Athena Corporation' hotels and resorts in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and also newly acquired 'Athena Corporation' hotels and resorts in Mexico.
"So, 'Pasha', how long will it take us to fly to Las Vegas.", Ashraf asked Jim - as they were driven to the waiting 'Dreamliner'.
"Well, as this is a private flight, it should take about five or six hours, so we should arrive in the early evening.", Jim replied.
"And then what, Jim ?", Ethan asked.
"After we arrive, Chuck will take us, in one of the limos, to the 'Villa Athena'.", Jim explained.
"So why not land at 'Los Angeles International' - it's nearer to the 'Villa Athena' ?", Ethan queried.
"Yes, but it would make a too obvious a trail - and we don't want any surveillance near where Tony's working - especially considering the 'info' that Teddy's carrying.", Jim said.
So the limo gently parked beside the huge 'Dreamliner', which was waiting for them on the tarmac, and they ascended the stairs, and entered their waiting aircraft.
"Great ! - Our 'flying penthouse' - once again.
I do like this 'airliner-thingy'...", Ethan said.
"Yes - I like it, but I'd prefer it if it would stay on the ground.", Teddy remarked.
"Well never in my wildest dreams did I never imagined that I would actually fly - and in something so large.", Novius said.
"And I also...", Ashraf concurred.
And while Jim conferred with the pilot, one of the attractive stewardesses ensured that Novius, Ethan, Ashraf and Novius were safely 'strapped in', in preparation for the imminent 'take-off'.
'Dreamliner' Taxiing - Cancún International Airport |
"Because I will be holding you tightly - so you'll be perfectly safe...", Ethan replied.
"Well make sure you do !", Teddy said as Jim also took his seat, as the engines revved, and the 'Dreamliner' slowly began to taxi to its allocated runway.
"So when do we get lunch ?", Ethan asked.
"After we've taken-off, and we're flying nice and smoothly.", Jim replied.
The 'take-off' was one part of any flight that worried Teddy.
The other part, not surprisingly, was the landing - but the 'take-off' was perfect and easy.
Jim then took them to a part of the 'Dreamliner' that they hadn't seen on their previous flight,
"Gee ! - What a 'dinky' little dining room.", Ethan exclaimed.
Once they were all seated (with Teddy sitting on the table, rather than at the table), the first course arrived.
"I notice you mentioned lunch and a chat - so I s'ppose the 'chat' is the 'catch'... ", Ethan observed.
'So Man, who here seems principal alone,
Perhaps acts second to some sphere unknown.
Touches some wheel, or verges to some goal,
'Tis but a 'part' we see, and not a whole.'
Alexander Pope, 'Essay on Man'
"Well yes...
A lot's been happening, so I suppose we should talk about 'things'.", Jim responded.
"Yes - and we need to decide just what we are going to tell the others.", Novius added.
"Well I found it all very worrying and frightening - what the 'Alien Leader' told us.", Ethan said quietly.
"Regardless, I think we learned a lot, and possibly we are in a better position to look back and understand what these 'aliens' might be trying to do.", Jim commented.
'Upuaut' |
'You mean the ones who seemed to be led by 'Upuaut' - although he didn't look 'alien'.", Ethan said.
"No - but I think 'Upuaut' himself, along with the pyramid ship at Chaco Canyon, was actually a holographic projection.", Teddy said, finally joining the discussion.
"Yes... but we've discussed all this before - with the 'Boss' - when we were in Memphis - that's Memphis Tennessee, and not Memphis in Egypt.", Ethan interrupted
"That's true, Ethan, but many things were said at that meeting - of great importance - and though we may have forgotten much - as many things have happened since then - thanks to Teddy, we still have a record of that meeting...", Novius wisely said.
Ashraf looked puzzled - mainly because Novius was referring to a time before Ashraf became a member of the group.
"I think I should explain...", Novius said.
Novius then continued...
"Since that discussion in Memphis, and my subsequent meetings with the 'aliens', I have been doing a great deal of research, with the aid of both Josh and Ashraf.
Jacques Vallée - born September 24, 1939 - is a computer scientist, author, ufologist and astronomer. His scientific career began as a professional astronomer at the Paris Observatory. Vallée is also an important figure in the study of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), first noted for a defense of the scientific legitimacy of the 'extraterrestrial hypothesis' (that UFOs and 'aliens' originate from regions in space beyond the Earth) and later, and more importantly, he promoted the 'inter-dimensional hypothesis' relating to 'aliens' and UFOs.
"Now I don't want you to think that Vallée has all the answers to our problems - far from it !
In fact he has been responsible, to some degree, for some of the more outlandish responses to the UFO and 'alien' phenomena.
Before developing his 'inter-dimensional hypothesis' relating to 'aliens' and UFOs, he became involved with the infamous Andrija Puharich - CIA collaborator, and promoter of the decidedly sinister 'Nin'e - and he was also an associate of Ira Einhorn.
Ancient Astronaut theorists believe evidence can be found throughout history to 'prove' that there was supposedly a pantheon of nine 'aliens' - posing as ancient Egyptian 'gods' (known as the 'Ennead'. These entities, it is proposed, influence the events on Earth, and dictate the course of humanity. Puharich believed that in the 1950s, under the auspices of the CIA, he had found individual channelers who were able to connect with 'The Nine'.
Lord Pakal
Vallée was also partly responsible for the spurious interpretation of the sarcophagus lid of the Mayan ruler 'Lord Pakal' - which he erroneous located in the Yucatan, rather than at Chiapas - that has become a favorite topic for 'Ancient Astronaut Theorists' such as Erich von Daniken.
Later Vallée became involved with the equally strange Robert Bigelow, who founded the 'National Institute for Discovery Science' to fund the research and study of various 'fringe sciences' and 'paranormal' topics.
Regardless, Vallée's 'Inter-dimensional Hypothesis' is well worth our serious consideration." Novius said.
"So, Novius - what is this 'inter-dimensional hypothesis - thingy' ?", Ethan asked.
Hugh Everett III |
This, of course, relates to Hugh Everett's 'Many Worlds Hypothesis'.
UFOs Throughout History - Akhenaten |
Very importantly, the 'Inter-dimensional Hypothesis' also suggests that UFOs are a 'modern' manifestation of a phenomenon that has occurred throughout human history, which in prior ages were ascribed to 'mythological' or 'supernatural creatures' and events - and to this degree, it has some links with the 'Ancient Astronaut Theory'...", Novius began.
"The 'Inter-dimensional Hypothesis' itself is very complex, and has been the subject of a number of books by Vallée." Novius added.
"And I suppose you have read all of them ?", Ethan asked.
"Well, three or four...", Novius admitted.
"So, you have abandoned the idea that these UFO's were German, and were left over from the Second World War ?", Jim asked.
"Well there might have been a few examples of that happening, but that would probably only have been during the 1940s and 50s.", Novius admitted....
German Disk-Aircraft - 'Haunebu' |
Jim sighed...
"So where dos that leave us now ?.", Ethan asked.
"Well - as I was saying - it leaves us with this 'Inter-dimensional Hypothesis', which we have slightly touched on during previous discussions, but to support the 'Inter-dimensional Hypothesis' the first thing that I want you to consider is the problem of 'too many landings'...
Now this is a complicated matter, and I am leaving this to Teddy, as he is probably the only one who can manage to present all the facts clearly and concisely.
So - over to you, Teddy.", Novius concluded.
Teddy Takes Over From Novius |
"Thank you Novius...
Novius and I undertook this study in order to find some pattern with regard to UFO sightings and landings..
I will not bore you with the full details of our findings, but I am confident that you will quite surprised by what we have to report.
The first argument against the idea of flying saucers as solid, 'nuts and bolts' spacecraft lies in the very large numbers of verified unexplained sightings.
We have referred to over two thousand documented cases of close encounters from every country on earth, many of them involving the UFO occupants of various sizes and shapes.
It may seem that just over two thousand cases in some twenty years is not a very large number, but we are referring to the cases that were actually reported.
It is possible, however, to calculate how many landings this truly represents if, as the contactees claim, UFOs are spacecraft whose occupants happened to be surprised by witnesses who wandered onto the scene as the craft was being repaired, or as the crew was conducting some exploration of our planet.
Firstly the time of the sighting - the probability that it will be reported, and the place of the event.
Most landings are reported to take place after 6:00 pm.
The frequency distributions of our computer studies has shown that this activity peaks at about 10:30 pm, decreasing sharply after that time, and increasing again just before dawn.
Significantly, there are few reports after 6:00 am.
These findings indicate that the activity of the objects in question is mainly nocturnal by nature, and by choice, although the reports decrease in frequency around midnight - simply because people generally go to bed after 10:30 pm, and so the number of potential witnesses is severely reduced.
So the question is.... how many reports would we have if people did not go to bed but stayed outside to watch these so-called spacecraft in the early hours ? - and we estimate that the answer would be about thirty thousand.
We would then have to multiply the number of cases by a factor of fifteen, and the actual peak would then be between 1:00 and 3:00 am.
Now, this last figure does not begin to approximate the actual number of events, because we know from many independent studies that only one case in ten ever gets reported.
Then we should not have thirty thousand, but three hundred thousand cases !
This, however, is still not the whole story, as most landings occur in unpopulated areas, away from dwellings.
If the earth's population were distributed evenly, instead of being concentrated in city areas, this would again increase the number of sightings.
Taking a conservative multiplying factor of ten leads us to the staggering conclusion that UFOs, if they are spacecraft engaged in a general survey of our planet, must have landed here no fewer than three million times in two decades !
Small Artificial Satellite in Earth Orbit |
Using a single small artificial satellite, not much bigger than the size of a waste-paper bin, in orbit a thousand mile above the earth, human technology, as it now exists, would be able to capture, in a few weeks, most of the important facts about the planet's geography, weather, vegetation, and culture.
Also, given the earth's emission of radio and television programs over the last fifty years, even the deployment of such a small space probe might not be necessary.
This is one of the little-recognized facts of the UFO problem that any theory has yet to explain.
The 'theory of random visitation' does not explain it.
Either the UFOs select their witnesses for psychological or sociological reasons, or they are something entirely different from space vehicles.
In either case, we would suggest that their appearances are staged !", Teddy confidently concluded.
"Well, that's very interesting...", Jim commented.
Large, Multicolored, Intense, Pulsating Light |
In other words, UFOs may be unidentified, but they are not flying, as birds and airplanes fly, and they do not always behave as material objects.
And how much do we know from the current scientific literature about the effects of strong, pulsed, colored lights, and other electromagnetic radiations, such as microwaves and gamma rays, on the human brain ? - very little - so until this area is fully explored, we will only have a poor understanding of the physics of UFOs."
Ethan then interrupted...
"So let me get this straight....
Are you and Novius saying that these 'pesky aliens' are real - or not ?", Ethan asked - sounding exasperated. - "and don't give me that 'what is reality ?' business".
Here Novius answered...
Plato - The Symposium Anselm Feuerbach edited & cropped - Vittorio Carvelli - 2022 |
"And if you remember, Plato taught that things that we take to be 'real' are actually 'reflections', or 'shadows' of the perfect 'Forms' - remember the 'story of the cave'...
So in that sense, only the 'Forms' or 'Ideas' are 'real'.
Platonic idealism usually refers to Plato's Theory of Forms', or 'Doctrine of Ideas'. It holds that only ideas encapsulate the true and essential nature of things, in a way that the physical form cannot. The treelike nature of a tree is therefore independent of its physical form.
Anselm Feuerbach (12 September 1829 – 4 January 1880) was a German painter. He was the leading classicist painter of the German 19th-century school....
"Yes, of course - my Greek tutor was always talking about Platonic 'Forms'", Jim added.
"And that brings me to a good point..." Novius added.
Everett Many Worlds Theory |
We all originated in a different 'Everett World' - a different 'dimension' and time, and we were transported here by a means that only Faunus understands - and yet we are quite certain that we are 'real'.
And this, I think, is what Vallée is implying - that 'aliens' may be from other 'dimensions' - and yet in most senses they are 'real'...", Novius concluded.
"So only the 'Forms' are 'really real', and everything else is only a little bit 'real'...", Ethan stated, looking decidedly confused, in and attempt to sum up what Novius was saying...
Teddy then spoke...
"Well - that's near enough...
But to summaries in more detail with regard to UFOs and 'aliens', our research has concluded that there are a number of arguments against the 'Extra-terrestrial Hypothesis' regarding the regularly reported appearances of UFOs and 'aliens' on this particular planet.
The first is that sophisticated surveillance systems usually fail to detect incoming or outgoing UFOs.
The second is the often reported fact that 'aliens' usually appear to have no difficulty dealing with Earth’s atmosphere, gravity, or disease causing viruses and bacteria.
The third argument relates to the previously mentioned 'too many landings' observation, and is simply that the statistics that we have discovered indicate a truly intense amount of traffic is claimed to be occurring - rather like launching an 'Apollo' space probe every half hour.
The fourth argument is based on elusive and absurd manner in which the 'aliens' often appear to behave, and the dubious information that they impart to those with whom they interact.
A further, fifth argument, is the strange fact the people who observe UFOs and 'aliens' regularly report what is best described as an 'Oz-like' experience near UFOs, which often involves an apparent 'space-time' isolation.
Betty's Star Map |
A seventh argument relates to the great astronomical distances between the stars, as there is nothing in Earth based present or foreseeable technology that gives any clue as to how these vast distances can be traversed in any reasonable time.
So it is for these reasons that while we accept that the UFO phenomenon appears to be 'real' - in the general sense of the word - there must be doubts that they are the product of 'beings' from other galaxies, solar systems or planets in 'outer space'."
And why's that a problem ?
Teddy looked amused.
"Well, on a September night in 1961, Barney and Betty Hill had a frightening experience in the mountains of New Hampshire.
Later they came to believe that they had been captured and studied by beings from 'another world'.
Now during their 'ordeal' on the spaceship, Betty just happened to see a star map lying around.
When Betty asked one of the 'aliens' what it was the 'alien', who conveniently spoke English, told her that the map showed trade and exploration routes, between stars, and that our Sun and the aliens’ home star were marked on the map, and he pointed out roughly where he and his crew came from.
Now Betty, had an equally convenient 'amazingly good' memory, and was able to draw the map for an astronomer friend - who was then able to work out just where the 'pesky alien's came from - and that was the 'Zeta Reticulum' system ! - so now we know.
But it's a problem because two dimensional maps are really quite useless in space, and all navigation in space is controlled by computerized systems...", Teddy concluded.
Light Speed |
"Well it looks that way...
It seems that in the case of Betty and Barney Hill - for example - the 'aliens' that they claimed to have met must have traveled 235 trillion miles to see them, so even travelling at 'light speed' it was a very long trip, so 'inter-dimensional travel' seems to be the only way they could have made the journey... and even then it would be a problem". Teddy replied.
"But why ? - we have a 'dimensional-travel-thingy' - and when we use that, traveling takes no time at all.", Ethan said.
Distance from Las Vegas - Nevada USA - to Luxor - Egypt |
"Yes, but it does take some time - but we don't notice it because it's only a second or so - but that's because we are travelling such a short distance - for example, only 7,700 miles from Las Vegas to Egypt - nothing really, when compared to hundreds of trillions of miles'.
So those seconds mount up - and even using a 'dimensional portal' a trip to most star-systems would take a long time.", Teddy explained.
"So how do the 'Aliens', to which we speak, come to see us ?", Ashraf - who had been listening intently - asked.
"I'm not really sure - although I think it might have something to do with this 'many worlds' business - but that is a question that only Faunus might be prepared to answer.", Teddy replied.
"Well, I don't want to go and visit 'pesky aliens' on some nasty planet in 'Zeta Reticulum' system anyway !", Ethan declared decisively.
By then they had finished their lunch (although, as always, Teddy had not been eating).
Main Lounge of the 'Dreamliner' |
Novius brought up the rear, and as he made his way down the corridor he heard someone say "Shhhsh !"
Novius turned round, only to see Faunus following him - and Faunus had his finger up to his lips, obviously indicating to Novius that he should remain silent.
Faunus then took Novius arm, and guided him to a small observation area, with seats and windows looking out over a magnificent cloud-scape.
"So, Faunus, - I didn't notice you at the airport - or coming aboard, for that matter.", Novius whispered.
"Good !", Faunus replied quietly, offering Novius a seat.
"So - why all the secrecy ?", Novius asked.
"No secrecy...", Faunus said nonchalantly.
"I just wanted to hear your latest comments about the 'alien' situation."
German Flying Disk |
Novius was non-committal - waiting to see what analysis Faunus might have to offer.
"The research that you and Teddy have been undertaking is very impressive - and I noted that you have not entirely dismissed your views regarding the possible sightings, in the late forties and early fifties and sixties, of 'German' UFOs' - although Jim did not seem to take you up on the matter."
"Well Faunus, it's all still very much of a puzzle.
Or if they are, they may be like the 'oracles' in the ancient past who often spoke in riddles and 'half truths'.
Of course, it was often said that 'elementals' - entities that are often referred to as 'nature spirits', were inveterate liars, and in like manner, many of the reports of the statements made by 'aliens' are often so absurd that it has been suggested by researchers, such as Keel and Vallée, that such 'aliens' are simply modern versions of such ancient entities.
The 'Cumaean Sibyl' was the priestess presiding over the Apollonian oracle at Cumae, a Greek colony located near Naples, Italy. It was this 'Sibyl' who was responsible for the mysterious utterances regarding Marcus and the others.
There have been, however, other 'aliens' that have seemed to be more reliable, and may, in some way that has not yet to be discovered, be linked to the German 'flying disks'.
As I am sure that you are aware, the UFO and 'alien' question is not just one phenomena, but may well be a number of occurrences of apparently unrelated events - phenomena that are only superficially linked.", Novius suggested.
"And does Teddy agree with you on this matter ?", Faunus asked.
"As a matter of fact he does... but I am not sure if the others, and particularly Marcus, will understand.", Novius replied.
"Well I must tell you that as far as I know the 'alien leader', although his is seemingly trustworthy, does not speak for himself - and while not lying, he is undoubtedly not revealing the whole truth...", Faunus confided.
McCarran International Airport - Boeing 777 - 'Dreamliner' |
"Something's up...", Teddy whispered to himself, as he and Ethan preceded Novius and Faunus.
"What's that ?", Ethan queried.
"Oh just commenting that 'our time in the 'Dreamliner' is almost up'..", Teddy replied.
The landing was uneventful, and the huge 'Dreamliner' was taken to its parking bay, and Jim, Nathan, Ethan and Teddy, and Ashraf deplaned - but Faunus was nowhere to be seen.
A large stretch limo, chauffeured by Chuck was waiting for them, and after customs and passport control, they were soon on their way to 'Antelope Valley', and the 'Villa Athena'.
